Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is on Friday 31st January.  It lasts for 15 days. It is the year of the horse. The Chinese believe people are like the animals associated with the year they were born. I am a monkey. This means I am clever but mischievous. I love a challenge. I am highly successful and well liked.

Today lesson was difficult because I needed  some help and asked questions.I learned a bit about writing letters.

Today Lesson

Todays Lesson was fun because I enjoyed making my business card.  Today I learnt about Burns Night. like he is from Scotland.

Roast Dinner Tuesday

On Tuesday, We had a roast dinner. I helped peeled the potatoes, laid the table and cooked my chicken.

 

    I tried some of the turnip and I like it.

 

Today Lesson

Burns Night is celebrated in Scotland. Robert burns is a national poet. They eat Haggis on Saturday 25th January.

Was difficult. I needed help to Up load photos for my blog.

We watched a video on YouTube on how to make paper flowers,  



 

I needed 3 pieces of tissue paper cut into a long strip and placed on top of each other.

 

We then folded the paper together until it went into a fan shape. We then attached a pipe cleaner at the top in the middle of the paper to hold it all together. We then cut the corners off to make a round shape.

 

We then had to pull the tissue paper apart carefully so it didn't tear.

 

 

We put our flowers in a vase. They look great.

Hobby Craft visit.

We went to Hobby Craft to look and buy materials for our mini enterprise at college. I hope you like my presentation.

Today Lesson

The lesson was difficult as I needed help to add my pictures to the blog. I liked looking for pictures Liz took of us on our visit to Hobby Craft to use in  my power point.

Christmas Day

I had lunch with my family. We had, turkey, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, sausages in bacon and gravy. Mum cooked our dinner it was very nice.
